Bi Luo Chun is not a soft tea.
Made from buds and leaves picked epsecially early this tea is complex and has a bit of a kick. It is like the IPA of green tea.
This Bi Luo Chun is cooked over a wood fire. While not super rare, this method makes up less than 10% of Bi Luo Chun making, most being cooked over propane. This gives the tea a deeper flavor and body.
This years Bi Luo Chun is picked earlier than last year, so the flavors are simpler but brighter. Lemony notes are paired with nuts and a bit of a floral aroma. Complimented by the Bi Luo Chun kick this tea is perfect when you need bit of energy or when you want a tea that commands your attention.
