This 2026 Silver Needle comes from Fu Dings most famous town Pan Xi. More specifically it comes from Da Yang Shan at an elevation of about 600m. This silver needle is single plot which means that this family did not mix it with other material from other near by plots as is common in all teas.
This tea has everything I look for in a Silver needle and then some.
This tea has a soft oily body that coats the mouth and lingers long after you swallow. Woven into that mode are a complexity of subtle notes. Zucini like vegetalness, honeycomb like nuttiness and soft but clear orchid aromas.
