I tea maker at Zhu Pu, home of Ding Gu Da Fang, told me it can only really be called Ding Gu Da Fang if its hand made. This tea is really Ding Gu Da Fang.
From Zhu Pu and from wild fields this Ding Gu Da Fang is made from very good quality material.
The flavor of this Da Fang is very light and refreshing. There is an edamame like vegetalness and toasty flavor like brown nice that may remind you of Long Jing. There is a floral aroma to it and all in all its a very crisp and refreshing tea. As of now the tea is very fresh but subtle. In the months to come more flavors may develope, but for now this is not recommended for people who are looking for a flavorful tea.
